Redeemed

After many weeks, maybe even months, of practicing for UCSICF’s Easter Rally 2009, the day had finally came.  Here I am sitting on my bed typing this at 12.38am… tired as…. As…… errr well tired as tired can be.

We started our day as usual… Morning to get parking spot, then class, then we found out dotcom had L4D for free under an hours time of game play within a certain time frame. So we played No Mercy Hospital Advanced… it wasn’t really hard actually… challenging and fun.

Fast forwarding to the later part, Phyllis had her recital today.  Unfortunately we were just too late to catch it.  But sure it was good.  Ming was covered in sweat by the end of it.  Then we had to go for sound check, but our equipment was locked in the guitar room.  We waited and finally got the key, rushed to the MPH, and set up as well as a brief sound check. Then I had to rush to guitar store to get a strap and then to home to get power adapter for my multi effects.  We ( Andrew, JiaWen, Emmanuel, Rachel and Myself ) grabbed McD’s on the way back for lunch.

And then the time had come, we had to get ready for the event.  We grabbed our dinner and got ready.  Crowd turned out alright, we had a good number of audiences.  At 8.00pm, Redeemed kicked off.

We played for the dancers, the song, point of difference.  Then later on JiaWen played for the Drama ‘Measure Up’ Conducted by Kelvin Kuan.  Finally as the night came to an end, we played for worship, 6 songs.  Mighty to save, Beautiful Saviour, Indescribable, Salvation is here, Let God Arise, and last but not least, Tell the World.

Tired at the end, most of us stayed back to pack up, clean up, help out.  And also take group pictures.  Tired tired tired tired, we all took off past 11.30.  We had a good run, fun too.  Hope everyone enjoyed Redeemed as much as we did.  And hopefully there were people who had great experiences also.  Glory be to Him for the entire event, none which would have been possible without His presence and guidance.
